I feel sorry for EB3 folks even though I'm under EB2. But I get upset when some of the EB2 folks don't even know the reason why they started getting green cards recently all of a sudden ( b'coz of roll over). They don't educate themselves and talk as if they deserve the green cards. If was a collective effort from IV and fellow immigrants that pressurised USCIS to follow the rules and reduce the backlogs.
Are you implying every person born in India in the EB2 owes a debt of gratitude to IV?
Why do people not deserve their greencards? If they followed the law, stood in line, and the government of the USA deemed them fit for a GC what else do you need for them to be deserving? Touch your feet and get your blessings?

We can keep CIR aside for some time. Are there any trails going to introduce any bill to get EAd before Priority date become current. It gives great relief to most of the people. why donot we support to core team in this issue?

she can say whatever. the courts have to agree.
if she says that constitutional protections don't apply to non-citizens, they are essentially reinstating slavery.
not that the constitution was against slavery.
H1B is a non immigrant visa, and we dont have the full constitutional rights, for eq we dont have the right to vote.
Legally we are not immigrants, that is the worst mistake( calling ourselves immigrants) ,being done by us,
If USCIS denies GC for security reasons, you cant sue them.

Sent in concurrent filing 1-140 & I-1485 on June 1st .
RD June 4th
ND June 5th
All checks cashed including PP for I-140 ON 2nd June 2007.
I have a couple of questions:-
How long before i get a answer on Premium Processing on I-140.
How long for Finger Printing notice.
How long before i get EAD.
Can i renew my CA drivers license with I-1485 filing receipt or do i have to wait for EAD.
Thanks folks and hang in there.( It took 6 years for LC approval).

Current Status: My case was approved and card production ordered on August 14, 2008 (got the email from CRIS) and still waiting for my spouse's EAD approval.

I did get LUDs today. Both mine and my husbands I-485 and I-131. But nothing on I-765. Anyone has any idea why they took FP when my I-140 and EAD still pending?

Adding a few clauses to one of the appropriations bills maybe...

I called there office but no clue what SKIL bill is about (Washington DC).
Can any one explain the source of this bill.
First and foremost, DO NOT CONTACT Sen. Cornyn's office.
We are privy to some information and we were told that Sen. Cornyn might introduce this to the senate today. When we say might, it means that there is a good chance he may not do so too!
And introducing just means that he will get a number assigned to it. It will NOT be debated today. The debate timeframe is decided by the majority and minority leaders Frist and Reid respectively.
We just wanted to share with you what we learned. When we learn more, we will let you guys know. For right now, all we know is in the first post.
And FYI, there are some decent provisions in this bill especially related to STEM. Also presents a solution to retrogression wherein Adjustment of Status would be possible in spite of no visa being available.

All EB categories will be current all the time. As soon as a I485 EB case is filed the visa number should be allocated to the first 8000 odd cases for that category based on the PD of application. If a new case is filed tomorrow with a old PD he will get the visa number and the last guys application will move to waiting list. At the beginning of the year all visa numbers are allocated and nothing is wasted, even if the case is having issues like RFE, FBI check, etc the applicant knows that once cleared he will get his GC.
Can you explain why you think the lawyers will laugh it off? Or is it just that you say it because someone is saying something which you don't agree with?
A clarification regarding the flower campaign. I said the AILA law suit and the congresswomen letter to the chief also had lot of weight. It is just not the flower campaign for your information, if you beleive so it is your opinion just like I have mine.
So what's your suggestion to fix the issue?

We the employment based immigrant community to do some thing to help his family. May be by contributions, and help his family to get his benefits from the company he worked, any insurance, IRA, 401K etc.....
Hiis spouse may not have the ability do these things from a foreign country. Some body from IV must contact his family now based in Sweden. This is my suggestion.

Just because i gave my predictions which were not favorable to the person, Someone gave me a red.:mad: Guys take it sportively, We are just doing a prediction games, If someone predicts dates which is favorable or unfavorable doesn't mean USCIS / State dept will use the same dates, They will use what is on their minds.
