exactly same case, applied july 17th, notice date sept 10th, transferred to TSC

For your info, mine is not a transfer case. My application was filed directly with TSC on July 2nd and I have received 485 receipt notices from TSC itself. So delay in FP has nothing to do with transfer case.
I spoke to an IO today and my FP has still not been scheduled yet. Got the same old reply , waiting for an availalibilty from local ASC.

I just called national customer service center for my 485 receipts and the lady told that nebraska filers should still wait for 30 more days before they call for receipt updates...she said she was answering the same question since this morning and mentioned that it could still take atleast 30 days for nebraska center to register the applications...
when I asked her if she knew whether my case has been transferred to TSC already (since my 140 got approved from TSC), she said she wouldn't know that answer...her bottom line was to wait...
what a mess!!!!!

I pledged 100 $ today for Aman's expenses because I felt really bad abt that. I donated around 300$ till date including 20$ recurring contribution.
I filed my 485 long time ago. But when people who are really seeing the fruits of IV (July VB reversal) are higly reluctant to donate even a few bucks, while they are spending thousand's of dollars for their 485 stuff, I am kinda confused.
Are people really that selfish not to donate a few bucks(may be 5$per month) to an organization which is making them file 485 and reversed all this fiasco.

It was amazing to see such response to call for funds for Aman and other core members.

Excellent idea.... this stuff on YouTube should generate a lot of page views. The YouTube video can then be embedded in an IV.org web page as well.

Where we can have people portraying roles of USCIS Director, Secrtary of State, Immigrants calling franctically to India to get their documents, parents running around to get doucments, the start of rumor, the employees of uscis working on sunday to adjudicate the cases, then the flip flop of DOS. etc. Then we can put this on youtube and will attract publicity.

My friends case was sent to NSC and delivered at NSC on 4th JUN. NSC redirected them to Texas. His checks got cleared today.. They issued receipts on JUN 11th.Good for him.

Question to IV core...
After receiving the standard email respose from the congressman/senator...I am wondering are they even aware about the legal immigrants. All we are getting the standard template which is talking about only illegals and DREAM.

Yes generally these replies come in from one of their workers, maybe even a trainee.
Thats why IV wants everyone to call back the Senator/US Reps office mentioning the email response, and ask why our problems were not addressed (legal immigrants) and that you need more clarifications. Typically they have a person handling immigration issues.
mentioning only the two we are campaigning for right now:
1. Employment based Visa recapture
2. Protecting children of legal immigrants from aging out regime
this is even more important than just sending an email
Better yet if you can meet if not call in the next 7-10 days.

Has anyone recently done Canadian Landing with pending 485 and any issues re-entering US with AVR/H1B/Advance Parole?
Any problem with H1-B stamping the same visit as you do Canadian Landing?
Can one apply for a 'Canadian Visitor Visa', while there is a valid (not used) Canadian PR Immigration Visa stamp in your passport?
I would appreciate your replies/experiences.
